The Institute for Rural Initiatives encourages children to achieve new results in academic field

At the beginning of the school year, the Institute for Rural Initiatives granted a new wave of assistance for the beneficiaries of the “Education Plus II” project’s: equivalent of school supplies and two types of educational vouchers, remedial and advancing for the additional homework facilitating sessions.

The distribution process started with a working session with parents and students aiming to establish a “channel” of communication between the “parties” involved the child’s education, teacher–parents–students and to emphasize the important role of education in children’s lives.

The teachers and the school administration of the schools, at which the project is being implemented, are also benefiting of the educational component of the project. The support consists of providing additional educational materials, trainings and online platforms for knowledge exchange.

We would like to remind you that the system facilitating quality education consists of three types of vouchers: homework facilitation voucher, an equivalent of a hot meal, food-vouchers and school supplies voucher.

We would like to bring to your attention that “Education Plus II” represents an innovative pilot project aimed to increase the quality of education in three communities from Moldova and at the same time aspiring to become a model for other educational institutions from all over the country.
