On May 16 the Institute for Rural Initiatives in partnership with the National Anticorruption Centre of the Republic of Moldova, General Territorial Department “South” organized an anti-corruption awareness-raising activity for young entrepreneurs from Zirnesti village.
Students were informed about the concept, the genesis and consequences of corruption. The activity was conducted in an interactive way, in an informal atmosphere. Students watched few learning videos and discussed case studies, and they also received information materials.
“The session was useful and absolutely necessary, young people have had a chance to better understand the concept of corruption, they also learned how it can be prevented, who can instigate a corruption act and what are the risks that have to be assumed”, has mentioned Elena Turcan, Program Coordinator IRI.
The activity was organized within the “Young Entrepreneur” project with the support of “Angello Development Foundation” and “Significado Foundation”.
