Democracy School children once more welcome guests

On Thursday, May 17, 2013 Democracy School students from Zirnesti in Cahul district had guests from the Global Fund for Children from Washington, D.C., USA. Neha Raval, representing the Global Fund for Children, was pleasantly surprised by the children’s enthusiasm and active involvement, as she had the opportunity to participate in the workshop’s activities.

Being a tradition, the children worked in groups during the workshop, which was organized into two sessions focused on developing critical thinking and analysis skills.

Thanks to a free and relaxed atmosphere, Neha Raval also had the opportunity to interview the children about the skills that they acquired through attending the Democracy School.

Democracy School activities are done through the Social Inclusion program 2012-2013 and are organized by the Institute for Rural Initiatives with the generous support of their partners at the Global Fund for Children, USA, Washington, D.C. and Foundation of the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) in Moldova.
