Teachers from three schools of the republic will face the challenge in facilitating quality education

For the period of March 15 to March 27, 2014 the Institute for Rural Initiatives organized a series of trainings in three schools from the Republic of Moldova. The trainings were focused on “Capacity building of teachers involved in facilitating quality education”.

60 teachers involved in facilitating quality education participated in the working sessions of guest experts from the educational center PRODIDACTICA, Ms. Daniela State and Angela Tomita. The purpose of the training was to enhance teachers’ knowledge in the implementation and promotion of quality education for disadvantaged children.

During the dynamic training sessions their participants agreed about the image of teacher of tomorrow as well as about the benefits of promoting and facilitating involvement into quality education. Gradually training topics were adopted from the efficient methods and practices of homework facilitation.

It will be recalled that the teachers from the three communities, who are involved into facilitating quality education for disadvantaged children, will be receiving a qualified training during the years 2014-2016.

The project “Education Plus II: inclusion of Roma kids in three schools of Moldova” is implemented with the support of the Liechtenstein Development Service Foundation (LED ) in Moldova.
