Children from the School of Democracy, with a tremendous joy, have hosted friends from USA in Zirnesti village, Cahul rayon on November 20th, 2014.
All 25 loyal members of the School of Democracy greeted friendly the guest and have started the workshop in a dynamic, relaxed and informal atmosphere. Children proved once again how “professional” they are during the working sessions, and to impress even more the long-awaited guest they have talked and asked some questions in Russian language.
The presence of Mrs. Neha Raval, representative of the Global Fund for Children from Washington D.C., did not cause any inconvenience for children. Vice versa, they felt great and have shown how much they love School of Democracy.
“I am waiting with excitement for each workshop within the School of Democracy. I have been attending the activities for 2 years and I really like it here. I have made many friends and learned very interesting and useful things. It was extremely nice to get to know Mrs. Neha, we will be waiting her to visit us again and hopefully soon”, said Madalina Boromicenco.
We would like to remind that this particular program offers an opportunity to a mixed group of children coming from 5 communities from Moldova to be the promoters of social inclusion, harmonious coexistence, ethnic non-discrimination, tolerance, and acceptance.
„School of Democracy” is a part of the IRI Social Inclusion program 2014-2015 implemented by the Institute for Rural Initiatives, with the support of Global Fund for Children, Washington, D.C., and Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) in Moldova and local partners.
