AVANTE, the 4th training session: Periodic evaluation and sustainability. A new step for rural community leaders

On November 29, 2024, 10 leaders from 5 rural communities participated in a new AVANTE training, held online on the Zoom platform, on the topic of Periodic Evaluation, Action Plan Adjustment, Sustainability. The event was dedicated to those who want to improve the evaluation processes of activities carried out at local level and ensure their long-term success.

During the session, participants had the opportunity to share their local experiences and discuss the importance of regular evaluation. Particular emphasis was placed on measuring achievements and adjusting action plans to better respond to community needs. Useful benchmarks for an effective evaluation process were also presented and interactive question and answer sessions were held, which were appreciated by all participants.

The next training in the AVANTE series (no. 5) will take place on 19 December 2024, marking the end of the AVANTE program dedicated to leaders from 5 rural communities in the Republic of Moldova.

This activity is part of the “Youth leaders at the table” project, implemented by iRi and local partners, with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Comunitatea Mea program, implemented by IREX.
