We are pleased to announce that in the 2025–2026 school year, we have launched the “Student with the highest academic growth” Scholarship Program in 3 rural communities in the country (Lingura village, Cantemir district; Cirnatenii Noi village, Causeni district, and Nicoreni village, Drochia district).
The aim of this program is to stimulate students’ motivation to study and increase their academic success between semesters. In this regard, the awards will go not to the students with the highest grades (annual averages), but to those who have shown an increase in their school average over the school year. In this way, it often happens that students with modest overall averages are awarded, but who have made an effort to improve their academic performance.
Since the program began in 2011, over 60 students have been awarded scholarships.

Students in rural areas often face difficulties such as a lack of adequate infrastructure and limited access to extracurricular activities. Thus, the Scholarship Program motivates students to become more involved in the learning process.” – Natalia Mereniuc, director of Nicoreni Gymnasium, Drochia district.
