Innovative teaching experience exchange within the “Education Plus II” pilot project

On August 21st, 2015 the Institute for Rural Initiatives organized the second exchange visit within the pilot project “Education Plus II”.

The event has brought together participants from three schools involved in the project implementation, from the northern, central and southern regions, in order to exchange experience in the field of homework facilitation sessions.

During the event teachers had an opportunity to discuss not only the impressive successes and achievements of this pilot project, but also have talked about the challenges and shortcomings they have faced while implementing the project activities. The opportunity to be a part of this activity has been welcomed and highly appreciated by the participants; they have happily shared their experience with colleagues.

The event took place in Chisinau and has hosted 17 teachers from “Ion Creanga” Lyceum, Zirnesti village, Cahul rayon, “Mihai Eminescu” Lyceum, Hincesti town, and “Gribova” Gymnasium, Gribova village, Drochia rayon. It was also attended by official representative of LED in Moldova Mr. Pius Frick.

We would like to bring to your attention that “Education Plus II” represents an innovative pilot project aimed to increase the quality of education in three communities from Moldova, and at the same time aspiring to become a model for other educational institutions from all over the country.
