The Institute for Rural Initiatives (iRi) launched the IntegrACT ALUMNI Academy. The Academy is at its fourth edition and is part of the series of IntegrACT trainings, implemented by iRi within the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova Grants Program.
The training provides 40 interactive training sessions for 100 young people from 10 rural communities from the Republic of Moldova, in order to help mobilize the graduates’ community from Moldova and abroad in implementing youth policies in their community.
The representatives of 10 partner schools will learn together with the 2020-2021 young graduates, and other volunteers, the best methodologies of mobilizing the graduates of their schools in order to support one or more community projects initiated by youth.
“As a result of this training, the local initiative groups will create dialogue platforms with the community of graduates from 10 partner communities to attract human and financial resources in implementing 10 Youth Local Action Plans.” – Elena Turcan, coordinator of IntegrACT Program.
The 10 local action plans will be the result of young people who, in cooperation with the local schools and 10 LPAs, will identify the most effective ways to mobilize dozens of graduates in supporting the implementation of the action plans.
IntegrACT Alumni will facilitate the process of youth empowerment by creating 10 official interaction departments with the graduates’ community within 10 partner schools.
“How can graduates be involved?.. I have never thought of such an idea. Very interesting,” mentioned Irina Manolova, a teacher from Cairaclia, Taraclia district, participating for the first time in such a project.
The activity is implemented by the Institute for Rural Initiatives (iRi) within the 2020 Grant Program for Youth Organizations of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
