The Institute for Rural Initiatives (IRI) within the Grant Program for Youth Organizations of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova launches the initiative “IntegrACT ALUMNI: active young people from rural areas mobilize graduates’ communities in implementing youth policies in their community” (abbreviated IntegrACT Alumni).
The concept of “IntegrACT”, initiated by IRI 4 years ago (2017), with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, is essentially an innovative model to promote at local level, in various rural areas of Moldova, the inclusive youth participation, constructive dialogue with the LPA, volunteering, and the spirit of initiative, having as specific objective the implementation of some actions from the Action Plan of the National Strategy for the Development of the Youth Sector.
The previous projects IntegrACT, IntegrACT PLUS and IntegrACT Amplify mobilized, trained and motivated to community actions, volunteering and cooperation with the LPA over 580 young people from 19 rural communities from various areas of Moldova.
The approach model within the IntegrACT Alumni is more complex, as the project goes from the premise that young people have been trained in the IntegrACT Academy in the previous editions and comes to create dialogue platforms with the graduates’ community.
The program will directly include about 100 young people from 10 rural communities (10 initiative groups) and other 500 young people through the proposed activities at local and national level.
