Community partnerships in support of friends from Ukraine

“The Community Partnerships in Support of Friends from Ukraine” project aims to empower communities where people from Ukraine have taken refuge.

Project actions are designed to work towards improving the quality of emotional rehabilitation and recovery services for vulnerable refugee children and parents. In order to better integrate parents and children from Ukraine, the project will include children and parents from the Republic of Moldova.

The project focuses on usage of available local resources, including human resources that interact to improve the quality of life of refugee and non-refugee parents and children.

Within the project, 10 “Friend of Friends” clubs will be created in which they will have a good part of the project’s activities. Also, the project will provide consultation, referral, guidance to the beneficiary parents and children.

This effort will be carried out in partnership with various representatives of active LPAs involved in this project, as well as representatives of local CSOs.

The project “Community Partnerships in Support of Friends from Ukraine” is implemented by the Institute for Rural Initiatives (iRi) in partnership with APSCF within the grant programme of the project “Support for Refugees under APSCF umbrella”, funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe.
